Dentists
Dr Mary O'Neill BDS NUI; Dip Clin Dent TCD; DPDS U Bristol
Mary graduated from University College Cork in 1993. She spent 9 years working in general practice in the UK before returning to Ireland in 2002. She is very keen to keep up to date with advances in dentistry and to this end, she has completed a three-year postgraduate diploma from the University of Bristol in 2007 and a two-year postgraduate diploma from Trinity College Dublin in Clinical Dentistry in 2005.
Mary has also completed a postgraduate Certificate in London on Advanced Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry in 2011 and this has allowed her to provide even more dental treatment options to her patients. This year-long course was headed by the Course Director, Dr Christopher Orr, one of the UK’s leading experts on cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Mary is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Irish Dental Association, European Society of Aesthetic Orthodontics.
She also completed a certificate in Implant Dentistry in 2014.
She is a certified Six Month Smiles cosmetic brace system provider, which uses tooth coloured braces to gently straighten and align teeth.
Mary is also a certified Inmann Aligner Provider.
Patient care is of supreme importance to Mary and she is dedicated to providing the optimum level of care to each patient who walks through her door. Mary reads the latest dental journals and regularly attends postgraduate courses in Ireland and abroad, on all aspects of dentistry to keep up to date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Mary is sensitive to the worries and anxieties of nervous patients or those with a phobia about dentists. She has years of experience in treating anxious patients with training and experience gained while working in a London practice which focused on treating phobic patients. Her relaxed and understanding manner quickly set the anxious patient at ease and her skill ensures that dental procedures are conducted with minimal stress and discomfort to the patient.

Dr David McReynolds BA, BDentSc, MFDS RCSEd
David graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin. During his undergraduate degree he was awarded the Adrian Cowen medal from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for his academic performance.
David worked as a House Officer in Dublin Dental University Hospital following graduation and following that he worked in general practice.
In 2014, David was awarded membership with the faculty of dental surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. In 2015, David began a three year clinical doctorate specialist training program in Prosthodontics with Dublin Dental Universtiy Hospital and he is now in his final year. He continues to work part time in the practice.
David continues to contribute to the academic community by giving lectures and writing articles for publication in peer reviewed dental journals. He is registered with the Irish Dental Council and is a member of the Irish Dental Association.
