New Patients
New patients are always welcome to our practice. We are here to listen to and understand your dental concerns and we will do all we can to resolve them.
Your first visit to the practice is designed to make you feel comfortable and at ease. You will be given all the time you need to ask any questions and discuss any worries. You will be welcomed by our friendly receptionist Tommy who will ask you to complete a confidential medical and dental history form if you have not done so already. This allows us to begin to understand your dental concerns and realise any general health issues which may impact upon your dental health.
Dr. O'Neill will discuss your past dental experiences and anything we need to learn from that in relation to your future dental care. When you are ready she will carefully and gently, examine your mouth. At this point, X-rays may be required and will be developed while you wait.
Based on the examination, X-rays results and discussions of your dental goals, she will be able to develop both short term and long term treatment plans as appropriate. We will provide you with a clear itemised estimate of costs and book a visit for treatment to begin. Some dental treatment plans may require a second visit to discuss further, but this will be at no extra cost to you.
